Private day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls

Departing from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech at 8:00 AM, this day trip takes you on a scenic drive to the breathtaking Ouzoud Waterfalls, located about 150 km northeast of Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains. The Ouzoud Falls, with a height of 110 meters, are the tallest in North Africa and one of the most spectacular natural attractions in Morocco.

As you journey towards the falls, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding countryside, where red cliffs rise above olive groves, tamarisk trees, and vibrant flora. Along the way, you’ll also pass traditional Kasbahs (fortified villages), adding to the charm of the route. The area is rich in wildlife, with apes and doves often spotted in the trees, offering a rare glimpse of rural Moroccan life.

Ouzoud is a year-round destination, with each season offering something unique. In the summer months of July and August, the cool mist from the falls provides a refreshing break from the heat. The air is crisp, and the surroundings are filled with the scent of wild herbs and hay, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation and exploration.

Upon arrival, you can enjoy a leisurely walk around the area, taking in the lush green valley and panoramic views. A short hike will take you to the top of the falls, where you’ll be rewarded with the best view of the cascading waters below. There are several restaurants in the area with terraces overlooking the falls, where you can relax and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch with an unforgettable view.

After your visit to Ouzoud, we’ll begin our return journey to Marrakech at 4:00 PM. On the way, enjoy the beauty of the changing landscape as the sunset casts a golden hue over the mountains. We will return to your accommodation in Marrakech around 7:00 PM, where your memorable trip to Ouzoud comes to an end.
